So at this point I went and asked my friends for some critique. Here are some comments from my good friend Kate. She wanted to have bats pop out more and to have some leading lines going to him with the smoke.

At this point I wasn't so sure anymore about the anatomy cause I was staring at it for so long. I had to lengthen the arm a bit cause apparently I made it to short.

Here she wanted it to have a more dynamic gesture, the original one was very vertical so she tilted it a bit forward and had the emphasis on the gargoyle's teeth, when before it didn't have teeth. :P
